On January 18, 2018, the Steering Committee held a parish-wide meeting regarding our Church Renewal Project. The meeting was held to discuss the next steps of our project and how we should move forward after receiving the results from our feasibility study. After much discussion and feedback from those in attendance, a recommendation was made to reduce the size of the overall renewal to decrease the overall budget. The Steering Committee responded, and the following has been achieved.
The Steering Committee provided direction to Brad Cox and John Miller Architects to revise the conceptual design to reduce the size of the overall renewal and decrease the overall budget.
The revised design documents were submitted to the parish on March 9, 2018, and posted on the parish website, www.stca.org for your information. They also received an updated construction estimate, which indicated a target project budget between $ 7 – 8 million dollars. An updated construction schedule/timeline is also posted on the website.
The updated Conceptual Design documents were presented to the Diocesan Arts & Environment Committee on March 9, 2018, and the Diocesan Building & Maintenance Committee on March 15, 2018. At this time, we are waiting for approval from the Bishop as to whether or not we can start a capital campaign to support our church renewal project.

El 18 de enero del 2018, el Comité Directivo tuvo una reunión parroquial sobre nuestro Proyecto de Renovación del templo. La reunión se llevó a cabo para discutir los próximos pasos de nuestro proyecto y cómo debemos avanzar después de recibir los resultados de nuestro estudio revacoacion de fondos. Después de mucha discusión y comentarios de los asistentes, se hizo una recomendación para reducir el tamaño de la renovación general para disminuir el presupuesto general. El Comité Directivo respondió y se logró lo siguiente:
El Comité Directivo proporcionó direcciones a los Arquitectos Brad Cox y John Miller para revisar el diseño conceptual a fin de reducir el tamaño de la renovación general y disminuir el presupuesto general.
Los documentos actualizados se enviaron a la Parroquia el 9 de marzo de 2018 y se publicaron en el sitio web de la parroquia, www.stca.org para su información. El Comité de Renovación también recibió un costo de construcción actualizada, que indicaba un presupuesto de proyecto mas objetivo entre $ 7 - 8 millones de dólares. También se publicó un cronograma / calendario de construcción actualizado en el sitio web.

Project Update:
The Parish Steering Committee and Pastor Fr. Jeronimo held a meeting to present and discuss the next steps of our church beautification and renovation project. There was a consensus drawn to move forward with a fundraising campaign. Our next step is to hire a consulting firm and raise the funds necessary to help restore our Father's house, the place we meet to celebrate the Eucharist, and experience community. A parish wide meeting was held on Thursday, December 14th regarding the future for a potential Church renewal and renovation. The architects shared their conceptual design for a renovated Church building. Our fundraising consultants shared data from the feasibility study we conducted in October and November of 2017. There were many people who shared their thoughts and asked questions of the architects, fundrasing consultant and steering committee.
The Steering Committee is thankful for your thoughts and feedback. The committee is intentional about how it is choosing to move forward, and your input has been important.
On January 18, 2018, at 7pm, we are holding a follow-up meeting in the Church regarding this project. We invite you to attend. Please invite a friend or two and join us that evening to hear more about next steps.
